2008-10-23:hello hello i'd like to say thanks to Two way Monoluges/Hi-Hat Recordings
as well as Le Phoque de Montreal. Both of whom have featured
one of our songs on thier latest compilation CD.
Merci Éric! Merci Dan!
2008-09-22: it appears i messed a couple things up. first, we aren't playing twice on september 27..fixed. second, the zip file for the album
has been re-uploaded. it should work right this time.
2008-09-14: hello hello. Huge thanks to everyone who has been out to our first couple shows with Jay, monkey lord of cock rythms, on the
drumkit, it's been a blast. We are now going to make our EP free to download in MP3 form. We don't have any more physical copies left and don't
really want to print more since the times are a changin' rest assured we are hard at work wrting new tunes for the next recording. all that said, you
can download the EP by clicking here, here
or,here....which of course are all links to the same thing
rawk!
2008-09-01: My but I'm a lazy ass. Here we are labour day and not a single update to this site. This isn't to say we haven't been busy,
quite the contrary actually. We're pleased to announce that we will be back playing shows in full force in these coming fall months, and rest assured
these will all be posted here and on our myspace. On that note we'd like to welcome Jay Vidyarthi to our lineup on the drumkit.
The sounds coming from our jamspace these days with Jay are a bit different than those of before, but I can surely speak for all of us here when I say
that I'm stoked about the tunes that are forth coming.....
take it easy,
rob
2008-07-16:   Greetings. my appologies for the distance between posts here, i should have updated this ages ago. It's been a traumatic few days for myself and the band. we've offically parted ways with our drummer, Trevor Zaavedra. This means we've cancelled our shows for now and we are actively looking for a replacement so that we can get back to live shows and move forward with all the new material we have cooking so please, if you or someone you know would be interested in playing drums for us, LET US KNOW: aftertheweather.band@gmail.com
2008-05-26:   First off I'd like to say a huge thanks to everyone and anyone who came out to any one of our shows last week! Things started off with
a couple of extremely fun evenings right here in Montreal and then we took the hills for a wee bit of a trip with our friends Mechatama
First stop was in Ottawa, next up Toronto, then we hit up Niagara and finally Kingston....i kinda wish we were playing again this evening at some other place
but it was a learing experience at it's finest and good times had by all
peace,
rob
2008-04-29:   After The Weather will be making a little bit of an extended road trip towards the end of May....call it a mini-tour. Our first couple dates will be in Montreal and Quebec city, but then we will play a few shows in Southern Ontario. Should be good times...we're super stoked about it, hopefully we'll see you out at one of the dates listed above.
2008-04-14:   We got ourselves a website now, built entirely by us...yay indie. It's been a slice learning how to do this sort of thing. Sure it might
have been easier to pay someone have done the work but in the end this was more fun...and cheaper...good good. So we got shows coming and stuff going on. the
good thing about making the site ourselves is that now anytime there are updates we'll get em' up here ASAP. So check it out, let me know what you think. Also,
if you you want on to our mailing list for shows, drop a line and let me know: aftertheweather.band@gmail.com
sooner or later i'll figure out how to make some script that'll do this automatically....but till then, I'd be more than happy to use good old fashioned e-mail
correspondence....anyways, enough rambling.
cheers,
rob
