After The Weather is a band that seeks to provide context for a world that has lost its meaning, largely thanks to television news.

After The Weather is a band composed of three navel gazing, day dreaming, love making human beings that one day found themselves in the same room together, making music.

The result was their first album, a self-titled EP largely about what happens when political ideology encroaches on personal space, and the daily tragedies and triumphs of living in a globalized, diversified and yet still highly ethnocentric society.

Their music is highly emotional, explosive, and knows no limits. It's been compared to some of the most experimental artists of the past 20 years; from Radiohead to U2 to Modest Mouse to Sonic Youth to David Bowie to Jeff Buckley to Arcade Fire to Muse.

Featuring a blistering live set that goes anywhere from dance-able indie pop to riff-based sonic opera, to out and out rock and roll, After The Weather is comfortable letting people make their own decisions about what they sound like.
